     Nearly a replica of her dam, Quianna is a very well balanced doe, having strength and overall correctness throughout. She is long and level across the back and rump, wide through the chest and heart, and has nice strength and set to her feet and legs.

Perhaps most desirable about Quianna is her mammary system. It has nice balance and shape, with a very strong overall area of attachment. The rear is high, wide and nicely arched, and the fore is full, wide, and well extended. Her teats are small and well delineated.

Vivienne has the honour of being the largest doe in the barn, measuring nearly 32” at the withers as just a two year old! Combined with this size is a real elegance and femininity, reminiscent of her grandam, GCH Blue Thunder Ace Naomi *M *P (EX).

Vivienne has great depth of rear barrel, outstanding feet and legs, and a smooth, well blended front end. Her udder is very well attached, both fore and rear. The medial is strong and well defined, with plumb, well delineated teats of nice size.

Vivienne is proving herself to be quite producer as well, being the dam of the 1st place junior kid at this year’s West National, as well as the high selling Nubian buck kid at this year’s International Goat Symposium Trendsetter sale.

     Mercy edges very close to my vision of the ideal Shadow Vale Nubian: super tall, long, dairy, and elegant, with a strong, productive mammary system.

She was undefeated in the show ring this year, beginning with 1st place milking yearling at the West National. It is her incredible length of body, height and overall dairy style that makes her an easy first. Though a slightly precocious udder as a kid has left one teat slightly larger than the other, her udder still has a nice overall balance and symmetry, is very capacious, with a strong overall area of attachment.

I just love this doe, and am anxious to watch her mature!

     Lynnae is definitely her mother’s daughter. She has incredible dairy strength – so open, flat and well angled in the rib, with beautiful texture to her skin, and a wide, open escutcheon. Also like her dam, she has a great deal of body depth and spring of rib.

     Amber is the largest kid in the barn, and arguably the most eye catching. Her flashy color makes her a real standout, but beyond that distraction, we find a strong, well balanced kid, who excels in body capacity and exudes dairy character.

     All this appeal made her an easy 1st place Senior Kid and Reserve Junior Champion at the CGS West National!

     Lady Raquel is a very strong and squarely set doe. She has very correct feet and legs, she is very powerful and deep bodied.

     She is a double Renegade grand daughter, Renegade was the 1999 West National Reserve GCH. Raquel's dam, Regaylia has a beautiful udder and was CGS Reserve West National Champion. Raquel herself was the 2008 CGS West National Res. Jr. Champion.

     Verona is a very high headed, naturally elegant young doe. She is a sharp, open ribbed kid, with nice depth of body and excellent feet and legs. I find her to be very similar to her dam in side profile.
